FEMA Flood Insurance Program Launches Agent Web Site

Washington, D.C. - The Federal Emergency Management Association's National Flood Insurance Program has launched a Web site to provide educational materials and other new content to insurance agents.

Accessed through www.FloodSmart.gov, the Web site includes a password-protected agents-only section, links to education and training programs, information about map modernization projects, and resource materials for customers to help them through the claims filing process.

Further, agents can access marketing tips, advertising tools, and additional resources to distinguish themselves as their community's flood insurance expert; and support for sales efforts that include tips, talking points, and an opportunity to enroll online for the NFIP Agent Referral Program and Co-op Program.
