Prior to joining Fireman's Fund in March of 2010, Zona held leadership positions at Nationwide and AIG. Previously at Fireman’s Fund, he was responsible for the commercial insurance product team and currently oversees product development, pricing and reinsurance for both commercial and personal lines. As chief underwriting officer, Zona will be responsible for setting the direction and priorities for commercial and personal insurance product lines and has primary accountability for driving profitable growth.
A 24-year veteran of the insurance industry, Zortman most recently served as the president of Professional Risk Solutions, a wholesale broker headquartered in the Northeast. Prior to joining Fireman's Fund, she also held leadership positions with PLI Brokerage, a high-net-worth agency, Chubb, and Deloitte Consulting. In her new role, Zortman will be responsible for leading the field underwriting, customer service and sales teams to create a consistent experience for Fireman's Fund agents and broker partners.
