Frankenmuth Insurance, a Michigan-based P&C insurer, has selected Guidewire InsuranceSuite as its new policy administration, claims management, billing, client data management, reinsurance, rating and underwriting platform. Frankenmuth also will use Guidewire DataHub to support its data management needs. PwC US, a Guidewire PartnerConnect Consulting member, also will work on the implementation project with Guidewire.

By updating its systems, Frankenmuth Insurance intends to simplify its infrastructure, reduce system maintenance costs, Guidewire said. Frankenmuth first will deploy InsuranceSuite to its commercial lines, then shift to personal lines operations.
