Freelancers Insurance Hires ClearHealth to Control Claims Volume

Freelancers Insurance Co. (FIC) has selected ClearHealth Strategies (CHS), a cost containment firm, to provide a Medicare-based re-pricing program for out-of-network claims management. The service, which has been in place since January 1, is being used to obtain savings on all eligible out-of-network claims.

In hiring ClearHealth, FIC states that they were looking for an outsourced Medicare-based re-pricing program to help them manage their out-of-network claim volume. FIC was interested in adopting a Medicare program and a new out-of-network program that improves consistency and clarity, ClearHealth adds.
