TEXTGUARD ADDS BLACKBERRY COMPLIANCE SOLUTION
TextGuard, a mobile communication compliance service provider, released Blackberry Enterprise Server edition to its TextGuard mobile compliance solution. The new program is designed to enable users to log, archive, review, extract and supervise SMS (text) messages, BlackBerry Messenger and PIN-to-PIN messages on mobile devices.
The company's first mobile compliance solution, the company said, required that the user download software to the device and manually send text messages to TextGuard for storing. With the new program, the application is installed once on the Blackberry Enterprise Server and messages are automatically captured and sent to TextGuard.
RMS DEVELOPS HPC CAT MODELING SOLUTION
Risk Management Solutions (RMS) will add high-performance computing (HPC) to its modeler through its new Enterprise Grid Computing software. Enterprise Grid Computing, which fully integrates the RMS RiskLink modeling platform with Microsoft's Windows HPC Server, is designed to enable computing resources to be used much more efficiently across the organization, with more flexible job and resource management and faster analysis run times providing higher productivity and deeper insight into modeled results.
Enterprise Grid Computing is an optional and separately licensed component of the RMS product suite to be released with version 10.0 of RMS' catastrophe modeling software. Technology and infrastructure advancements in the latest version of RMS RiskLink and RiskBrowser also will deliver performance and scalability improvements, RMS says.
