ING Insurance U.S. Promotes New CIO

ING Insurance U.S. announced the promotion of Gary Baxter to CIO. He will provide overall leadership, management and strategy execution related to technology investments and IT operations across all U.S. business lines, including ING U.S. Retirement Services, ING Individual Retirement and ING U.S. Insurance.

Baxter previously served as the head of IT for ING U.S. Retirement Services, ING Individual Retirement and the company's closed block of business.

Baxter joined ING with more than 25 years of experience in information systems, most recently with The Hartford Financial Services Group. He also served in executive IT roles with Travelers Life and Annuity, Lincoln Financial Group and Aetna.
