Ironshore Inc. has named Joe Roberts the company's new CFO, reporting to Kevin H. Kelley, CEO of Ironshore Inc, which is a P&C insurer with energy and healthcare units. He will be based in Ironshore’s head office in Bermuda.
Roberts most recently was EVP and CFO of Alterra Capital Holdings Ltd. During his 11-year tenure with Alterra, he helped the company to expand, according to Ironshore.
Prior to joining Alterra in 2002, Roberts served as VP, finite underwriting for Overseas Partners Re Ltd. and also held various management positions with KPMG Bermuda from 1994 to 2001. He began his career in public accounting in 1987, before moving to the London office of Moore Stephens in 1989.
