ISCS has updated its modern enterprise suite, SurePower Innovation, which automatically extracts data from structured and unstructured documents. The suite is designed for P&C insurance companies writing personal, commercial and specialty lines.
The consumption and use of external data is an ongoing struggle for insurers, ISCS said. SurePower Innovation now offers a flexible alternative to error-prone, manual data re-entry. Insurers will have a cost savings with faster access to important external sources of information.
SurePower Innovation’s data intake function enables the automatic extraction of structured and unstructured data from documents such as PDFs, images, ACORD forms, Excel spreadsheets, loss reports and motor vehicle reports. It also allows the conversion of data into pre-defined insurer data formats or the pre-fill of insurer's application screens; and intake from multiple attached documents in an asynchronous mode. Manual data entry is eliminated.
