ISCS, a developer of enterprise software for P&C insurer clients, has announced availability of a new version of its SurePower Innovation suite that includes a new web service portal and improved configuration and usability features.
SurePower Innovation version 3.0.9 incorporates several customer suggestions and enhances the overall user experience, according to ISCS. The web service portal replaces the existing portal included in previous versions of SurePower Innovation that is easier to use, is configurable and can be branded to meet a company’s requirements. An improved registration process lets users access the portal via a text/email PIN or by answering security questions, the company says. The new portal also features updated payment capabilities, coverage detail presentations produced by product-specific rules, a claim/accident reporting wizard, a policy change request wizard, and links to and from the new web service portal.
An updated multi-state policy capability — suggested by several SurePower Innovation users — introduces more intuitive definition of insurance products with a countrywide common configuration and state-specific configurations, according to ISCS. The enhanced functionality in version 3.0.9 provides for more straightforward versioning, maintenance, and configuration through PowerTools, as well as for easier regulatory compliance since countrywide and state product versions are segregated appropriately and SurePower Innovation automatically controls which state rules are called and which tiles are shown with just normal configuration.

Additional enhancements in version 3.0.9 of ISCS's SurePower Innovation include the addition of Correspondence actions in each File tab and availability of Add Note and Add Attachment actions in a new pop-up. SurePower Innovation can be implemented independently or as a full suite via ISCS's SurePackage, the company's complete managed SaaS deployment option.
