ISCS has improved its SurePower Innovation Modern Enterprise Suite with new functionality that adds business intelligence (BI) capabilities for its P&C insurer clients.
The recent improvements are available via a partnership with 4Sight Business Intelligence, allowing ad-hoc reports to be created. ISCS's BI offering includes insurance-specific key performance indicators; access to geo-mapping and graphical data representations; a library of pre-built reports and dashboards; hosting by ISCS for SaaS customers to ensure built-in redundancy through offsite data centers; and strategic planning and forecasting capabilities for insurers.
ISCS clients can access the BI functions from within SurePower Innovation, or through an optional separate component that integrates with key SurePower Innovation components, including policy administration, claims, billing and reinsurance.
"These enhancements are part of ISCS anticipating the need for greater insight into trends within a customer base or specific book of business that our insurer clients will have going forward," said Andy Scurto, president of ISCS. "True BI is about more than pretty pie charts. It gives insurers an action plan for how to improve areas of their business that may not be performing to capacity, and can also help establish a strategy for organic growth that will result in a tangible improvement to the bottom line."
