Keeping an Eye on Life Insurers’ Online Activity

More than a dozen life insurers will now find their online presence under the microscope of Corporate Insight, a consultant for the financial sector and insurance industry.

The firm has introduced “Life Insurance Monitor,” a service that will focus on “the online user experience offered by leading life insurance firms to prospects, clients and advisers,” according to a press release. This will include social media, mobile capabilities, interactive tools and resources, website reviews, as well as evaluations of how client communications and transactions are carried out. To supplement this, trends and changes in competitive spaces will also be covered.

Thus far, the coverage list is set to include Liberty Mutual, MassMutual, MetLife, Nationwide, New York Life, The Hartford, USAA and several other tier-one carriers.

The monthly subscription service will also promise accessibility to an “Advisory Panel,” which consists of “a group of consumers and financial professionals available to answer questions and provide unique perspectives on key industry topics.”
