LOMA Recognizes Sun Life for Educational Achievement

Wellesley, Mass. — The U.S. division of Sun Life Financial has been awarded its fourth consecutive LOMA Educational Achievement Award, recognizing the company’s exceptional educational and professional development efforts. Sun Life Financial group of companies, headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario, reported in June 2008 total assets under management of US $404.7 billion.

The LOMA Educational Achievement Award is presented annually to the top 15 financial services companies and their employees with the highest participation levels in LOMA’s learning and development programs, based on total exam enrollments during the prior year. Of more than 1,200 companies worldwide that were eligible for this award, Sun Life is one of only 15 to be honored.

Recipients of the award have established a corporate culture that recognizes employees for their proactive learning initiatives and supports employee involvement in financial services education.
