Majesco Inc., a global provider of core systems and services to insurers, has agreed to buy Agile Technologies, an IT consulting firm with revenues of more than $9 million. The combination of Majesco’s insurance technology and Agile’s industry thought-leadership, consulting and client service capabilities is intended to enable Majesco to accelerate its customer support and growth plans, Majesco said.
The acquisition is a significant step in the execution of Majesco’s growth strategy, and the company is continuing to invest in expanding and strengthening its business and build its portfolio of products and services through R&D, talent development and acquisitions. The deal is expected to close in January 2015.
