Merkle 5th Finger Releases ResponsiveJS 2.0

Merkle 5th Finger, the mobile technology division of Merkle, a customer relationship marketing firm, has released ResponsiveJS 2.0. ResponsiveJS is a suite of JavaScript-based technologies that can transform a traditional website into a responsive design site for mobile and tablet optimization.

The ResponsiveJS Suite uses JavaScript framework, which transforms an existing desktop website into an optimized, responsive website, without requiring a full rebuild, Merkle said. The ResponsiveJS Suite delivers fast page load times, using the Responsive Image Optimizer to deliver optimized images for each device type. Updates also are simplified with a Development Environment, which allows for testing and viewing site changes across screen sizes in real time.

Munchkin Inc. is the latest organization to use the ResponsiveJS technology to build and launch a responsive website for smartphone and tablet devices, Merkle said. Merkle’s experience in the areas of insurance, wealth management, banking, life sciences, travel, media and entertainment, CPG, high technology, and B2B enables ResponsiveJS to address customer experience strategies.
