MetLife Announces Chief Enterprise Strategy Officer

MetLife Inc. announced that Rebecca Tadikonda will join the company as chief enterprise strategy officer, responsible for MetLife's global strategy to drive financial performance.

Tadikonda succeeds Kishore Ponnavolu, now president of MetLife Auto & Home, and will report to Steven Kandarian, chairman, president and CEO.

"An aligned, integrated enterprise strategy is essential to creating value for customers and shareholders," Kandarian said. "With her extensive experience advising financial services firms, Rebecca will play a critical role in helping MetLife continually adapt to a changing external environment."

Tadikonda previously was with Bain & Co., where she was a partner in the financial services practice. She also held positions at Verisign and DHL Worldwide Express. She earned a B.A. in economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
