Today, Metlife shared the announcement that Michelleta Razon will join the company as head of data enablement. In her new role, Razon and her team will work with businesses that span over 40 markets to implement data solutions and capabilities that enable more accessible and efficiently managed data sources, according to the news release.

Razon previously worked for Google Cloud as VP, general manager and head of Commerce where she managed Google's suite of productivity-focused cloud computing technology and services. Prior to her position with Google, Razon managed a global team as head of engineering for Mastercard commercial and B2B solutions, worked for Teradata and held various roles within the SAS Institute.

"She is the latest addition to the talented professionals at MetLife who are helping bring these goals to life and build on our 155-year history."

Razon will also help lead a partnership with NC TECH, which was recently announced in early February, to establish a Center for Technology Workforce Innovation. The partnership aims to provide a hub of resources and growth for North Carolina tech employers and workers. Razon will be based out of the company's Global Technology Hub in Cary, NC, which contributes knowledge and expertise to the hub of technology information.

Razon will report to Robin Gordon, MetLife's chief data and analytics officer.
