Microsoft to Incorporate DocuSign in Office 365

Microsoft Corp. and DocuSign have formed a strategic partnership to make DocuSign's eSignature apps available from within Microsoft Office 365. The eSignature apps for Office 365, available in the Office Store in early March, will provide customers with the ability to submit and sign documents without leaving Microsoft applications.

The solutions, built on the Office 365 platform, will include integration within Outlook, Word, SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server 2013, DocuSign said. Customers can expect the following easy administration and use as Office 365 and SharePoint administrators will be able to add DocuSign Apps for all users directly from their administration consoles.

Users also can expect single sign-on, as DocuSign has adopted Windows Azure Active Directory to provide single sign-on capabilities and secured storage, DocuSign said. DocuSigned documents are stored automatically in Microsoft OneDrive for Business.
