Mitchell Releases ClaimIQ Scene Diagram

Mitchell International Inc., a provider of information, workflow and performance management solutions to the property/casualty claims and collision repair industries, has released Mitchell ClaimIQ version 2.19, also called "Scene Diagram."

This latest version is designed to improve adjusters' investigative consistency and efficiency by allowing them to graphically depict the chain of events leading up to a vehicle accident. Scene Diagram also provides claims professionals and their claims-handling partners a clear, concise and accurate visualization of the claim incident across the investigation, evaluation, negotiation and settlement process, Mitchell says.

Scene Diagram capabilities include preloaded, common intersection templates that help speed diagram completion; integrated satellite image overlay with Microsoft Bing Maps; and multiple color and labeling options combined with common accident objects for consistency, clarity and scale of the scene diagram. Dynamic animation links multiple diagrams together to see the accident happen. Exportable diagrams allow users to share with other claims handling partners, the other party's insurance company, attorneys or recovery personnel.
