Mitchell Releases Decision Point 8

Mitchell, a provider of technology, connectivity and information solutions to the P&C claims and collision repair industries, has released Decision Point 8, an automated medical bill review and workflow solution for first- and third-party liability adjusters.

With the release of Decision Point 8, Mitchell is ahead of the October 2014 deadline for the changeover to IDC-10, the 10th revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, Mitchell said. The company is empowering clients with the latest technology to manage liability claims handling.

Decision Point 8 is a medical bill review platform enabling adjusters in the auto casualty industry to make decisions around medical bills, related to liability claims, Mitchell said. This release features the ability for mixed-code claims to be processed with both ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes, which will help when medical treatment occurs before and after the implementation date. Adjusters will have access to an ICD-10 Diagnosis code lookup feature.
