Mutual of America Life Insurance Appoints President

John R. Greed has been appointed President of Mutual of America Life Insurance Co., which offers retirement products and related services, effective March 5, 2015.

Greed has served as SVP and CFO for the insurer since December 2007. He will continue to report to Thomas J. Moran, who has been president since 1992, and who will remain chairman and CEO.

"John has been an integral member of our senior leadership team for nearly two decades," Moran said. "He possesses the right combination of experience, expertise and vision to lead and help grow the Company, while always remaining committed to the needs of our customers."

Greed began his career with Mutual of America in 1996 and was shortly thereafter named EVP and treasurer. Currently, he also is chairman, president and CEO of Mutual of America Investment Corp. and Mutual of America Institutional Funds Inc. Prior to joining Mutual of America, Greed was a partner with Arthur Andersen. Currently he serves on the board and executive committee of the Greater New York Councils of the Boy Scouts of America.

Chris W. Festog will replace Greed as CFO. Most recently, Festog served as EVP, assistant treasurer.
