Nationwide Financial has chosen Intellect Claims from Polaris Financial Technology Ltd., a software provider for financial services, and will be implementing the Intellect Claims workstation, service portal and beneficiary management system.

In addition, Polaris will provide integration services with several life and annuity administrative platforms to provide a single user experience.

Nationwide said it is looking to improve in many areas, including claims process, customer experience and compliance. “Polaris’ solution was a good fit due to its flexibility in configuring the claims process to fit our diverse needs and setup role-based workstations, which we believe will lead to a superior customer experience,” said Jeff Stein, VP of Insurance Operations for Nationwide Financial.

According to the provider, Intellect Claims is built using components and framework designed to connect legacy systems, providing integration and straight-through processing.
