Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company has expanded its service aggreements with Guidewire Software, Inc., as part of its ongoing digital strategy.
The insurer will implement Guidewire’s Digital Portals, which include account management, quoting, agent and claims portals, for customers and intermediaries. Nationwide is already in production with its investment in Guidewire InsuranceSuite for core.
“The integration of Digital Portals with Guidewire InsuranceSuite provides a single source of change for our business rules across both core systems and digital channels. This improves our agility and speed to market of future changes,” said Jim Korcykoski, Nationwide’s enterprise chief technology officer.
Guidewire Digital Portals will enable Nationwide to provide agents, policyholders and vendors with self-service claim and quoting capabilities, increase web traffic to better compete in the market and lower cost of ownership.
