New Transamerica CMO to focus on digital
Life insurer Transamerica has appointed Frank Sottosanti CMO, leading the company's marketing, brand management, digital platforms, content delivery, innovation effort and channel marketing support for distribution.
Sottosanti joins the company from Protective Life, where he held a similar role since 2012. There, he directed the efforts of the marketing team to build brand awareness, relevance and trust mostly on digital.
"We are looking forward to him providing strategic leadership as CMO by further executing on the innovative and transformational brand and digital platform initiatives that we have in development to enhance our customer, advisor and employer experiences," says Dave Paulsen, executive vice president and chief distribution officer for Transamerica.
Sottosanti has also worked at BBVA Compass, Wachovia Bank, Bank of America and the Coca-Cola Company in marketing roles.
"Our goal is to build on that and create more opportunities for individuals to grow and protect their wealth and health," he says in a statement.
