New York Life has appointed Michael Del Secolo to SVP and CTO. Reporting to SVP and CIO Sue Ericksen, Del Secolo is responsible for guiding the development of the company’s technical strategy, research and innovation.
Del Secolo joined New York Life in 2010 as VP of architecture, and in 2011, he added responsibility for engineering, leading the management of IT architecture and engineering for the company.
Prior to joining New York Life, Del Secolo worked at Automatic Data Processing (ADP), where he held positions of increasing responsibility including VP of IT engineering, VP of Internet and network services, and VP and chief information security officer. He also has held positions at Sea-Land Service Inc., Salomon Brothers Inc. and RAV Communications.
