New York Life Names SVP and Head Of Enterprise Computing Services

New York Life has announced that Neal Ramasamy has been elected a senior vice president of the company, and will head the insurer’s enterprise computing services. Ramasamy will report to Senior Vice President and Business Information Officer David Castellani.

In his new position, Ramasamy is responsible for leading enterprise infrastructure services, data center operations, and desktop services functions to meet strategic and day-to-day computing needs in support of New York Life’s business. 

Ramasamy has more than 20 years of experience in the field of technology. He joined New York Life in 2009 as managing director and chief information officer for RPS, where he was responsible for all aspects of the division’s information technology and operations. Prior to joining New York Life, Ramasamy was SVP and head of technology for Fidelity Investments’ global brokerage division, where he led several successful transformations and large multi-year cross-company technology initiatives.

Ramasamy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathiar University in India.
