OneAmerica chairman of the board and CEO Dayton Molendorp will retire as CEO on March 31. Molendorp will remain chairman of the board of OneAmerica and its parent company American United Mutual Insurance Holding Co. (AUMIHC). The AUMIHC board named OneAmerica’s current president, J. Scott Davison, as OneAmerica’s next CEO, effective April 1. Davison was elected to AUMIHC’s board of directors in January.
OneAmerica said Molendorp has been with AUM since 1987. During his years of leadership, the OneAmerica companies produced results that include continued business growth and maintained financial strength.
OneAmerica added that Scott Davison joined OneAmerica in 2000 and was named president in 2013, after serving as the company’s executive VP since 2011. Davison served as OneAmerica’s CFO from 2004 to 2011. Davison previously worked in financial roles at UNUM Corp. He serves on the boards of IU Health, LL Global, The American College, Indiana Sports Corp., Indiana Bond Bank and Camptown.
