Westborough, Mass. — OneShield Inc., a policy administration system provider supporting personal, commercial and specialty lines, announced the expansion of its U.S. operations to include an office in Glastonbury, Conn.
In the past 18 months, OneShield has undergone growth in company size and has increased its customer base. In order to effectively manage its aggressive growth, OneShield recognized the importance of not sacrificing the quality of service. The company is committed to ensuring proper staffing and organization to continue to provide outstanding support to its clients, says the company.

"Our decision to open a Connecticut office was fueled by our desire to maintain outstanding service to our customers as well as to attract highly qualified insurance and technology professionals to join our team," says Heather Peacock, SVP of sales and client services. "Hartford is considered one of the best areas in the country for insurance talent. Finding the right people to build our team is very important. We feel that opening this office gives us a competitive advantage in attracting highly skilled technology and insurance experts that will help OneShield continue on our successful path."
The office will contain the growing post-production client support services group as well as insurance business analysts, project managers and insurance technology staff. At its opening on September 2, the Connecticut office will be staffed with existing Connecticut-based OneShield employees, while creating approximately 30 to 40 new jobs for insurance and technology professionals within the next 12 months, says the company. This additional staff will contribute to the accelerated growth that OneShield is experiencing in its Westborough, Mass. and Gurgaon, India offices.
