OneShield to Expand

Insurance solutions provider OneShield Inc. announced the expansion of its North American headquarters in Westborough, Mass.

Due to the many recent additions to its client family, including a large specialty and surplus lines provider based in Connecticut and The Dominion of Canada, OneShield determined there was need for additional staff and space to continue the company's growth.

"OneShield continues to expand and grow at an even pace each year, and we are committed to maintaining our 100% success rate for implementations," says Glenn Anschutz, president and CEO for OneShield.

The company's Westborough, Mass. headquarters houses the majority its development, sales and service staff, however, the company has added sales and marketing staff in the southeast United States and on the west coast. OneShield's Glastonbury, Conn. office, which focuses on professional services, and the offshore development team located in Gurgaon, India, also are growing.

"OneShield's continued growth underscores the ongoing push by carriers to modernize, starting with their core systems," says Chad Hersh, principal with Novarica's insurance practice. "With a large majority of insurers looking to their software providers to help implement solutions, those providers must attract and retain top talent on a continuous basis."
