Pacific Life Re, the reinsurance subsidiary of Pacific Life Insurance Co., has promoted two employees. Ian Rowe has been named claims manager. Leighton Freeman has been named senior life and disability underwriter.
Rowe will lead the claims team and be responsible for Pacific Life Re’s overall claims service, Pacific Life Re said. He has more than 15 years of claims experience, having started his career at Unum Provident. Rowe’s promotion will bring him closer to clients through an extended external focus.
Freeman has more than 16 years of underwriting experience, having previously worked for L&G and Zurich, Pacific Life Re said. His new role as senior underwriter will help to develop the claims and underwriting operation of Pacific Life Re.
