Seattle — PEMCO Insurance’s "We're A Lot Like You" ad campaign recently won top honors at this year's Telly Awards for its television commercials featuring profiles of Northwestern U.S. characters. Selected from among 14,000 entries worldwide, PEMCO won eight accolades, including six first-place statuettes for humor, at the 29th annual competition.

PEMCO's "We're A Lot Like You. A Little Different." campaign launched in September 2007 and celebrates classic values shared by many Northwest U.S. residents. Winning ads included quirky yet identifiable regional characters such as the "Sandals and Socks Guy," "Blue Tarp Campers" and "Obsessive Compulsive Recycler," among others.
