Progressive has selected Splunk Cloud and Hunk: Splunk Analytics for Hadoop as its platform for application and infrastructure performance monitoring and real-time and historical operational analytics.
The insurer will use Splunk Cloud to consolidate all system, application and web log data with the goal of troubleshooting and fixing issues before they impact the end user. Meanwhile, Hunk will be used to analyze data in Progressive's Hadoop environment, identifying application performance trends that directly impact customer satisfaction.
