Canadian P&C carrier Promutuel Insurance has announced the adoption of Guidewire DataHub to support its ongoing data management strategy. Guidewire PartnerConnect member V-NEO is leading the implementation.
DataHub will enable Promutuel Insurance to deliver data to users more quickly, better map and convert data into its new core systems and provide a single platform to view policy information across all business lines, according to Guidewire.
Promutuel plans to first integrate its policy data into DataHub, followed by claims, with a goal of full deployment across its 17 member mutuals by 2018. The Quebec-based company previously implemented Guidewire’s PolicyCenter and Rating management as its platforms for underwriting, policy administration and rating.
“We are enthusiastic about the prospect of using Guidewire DataHub as our primary data source,” said Guy Lecours, chief operating officer of Promutuel Insurance, in a statement. “Integrating ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter with DataHub will allow our users to retrieve data quickly and efficiently.”
