ProspX Reports 2010 Results

ProspX Inc., a developer of the first on-demand enterprise search and sales collaboration platform for the commercial insurance industry, announced a record number of carriers and brokers currently connecting and collaborating online via the platform.

At the close of 2010, 4,000 brokers and more than 16,000 carrier underwriter specialists were represented in the ProspX network, says ProspX, adding that it built on the adoption of the collaboration platform with InsiderConnect, an electronic marketing offering.

Some of ProspX’s 2010 achievements include: reaching more than 16,000 underwriters from 540 different global carriers; adding 4,000 brokers from 28 of the top 100 agencies in the United States; expanding its product line with launch of DirectConnect; and being named in “Hot Insurance Technology Company to Watch in 2010” analyst report.

ProspX says the launch of InsiderConnect in December marked the introduction of the industry’s first electronic marketing solution to aggregate and deliver opportunity-specific content via a custom-generated newsletter to a producer’s email inbox. The patent-pending technology enables business partners, such as carriers and wholesalers, to target their updates to the producers working on specific deals, elevating their key differentiators and increasing their chances of gaining more producer mindshare, says ProspX.
