QBE Signs Analytics BPM Deal with WNS

QBE Insurance Group Ltd has selected WNS to manage end-to-end predictive analytics focused on claims, underwriting, distribution and fraud, the companies announced today.

The move caps a busy few months for the Sydney, Australia-based insurer. Its subsidiary QBE North America recently adopted FirstBest’s underwriting software and appointed Zurich Australia’s Daniel Franzetti as its new chief claims officer In February. 

In an interview with INN Last May, QBE North America’s Chief Data and Analytics Officer Gina Papush said the insurance industry was ready to become a leader in big data, just like the larger financial services sector.

With operations in 37 countries worldwide, QBE and is one of the top 20 insurance companies measured by net earned premium.
