RGA names CFO

Reinsurance Group of America announced Laura Cockrill, who was most recently the chief strategy officer, as its chief financial officer. Cockrill succeeds Axel Andre, who will leave the company July 17.

Nationwide partners with Barn Owl

Nationwide is partnering with Barn Owl, which provides solar-powered, cellular-connected camera systems, to offer remote monitoring solutions to customers. 

Vicente Rico, agribusiness risk management product development lead at Nationwide, said in a press release: "Farmers and ranchers often have valuable equipment, livestock and infrastructure spread across wide areas, and it's not always practical to be everywhere at once. Our relationship with Barn Owl strengthens Nationwide's commitment to helping customers predict and prevent losses by giving them another practical, easy-to-use tool to monitor their operations, deter theft and respond more quickly when something needs attention."

Lemonade launches autonomous car insurance in Colorado 

Lemonade launched its autonomous car insurance in Colorado. 

Shai Wininger, president and co-founder of Lemonade, said in a press release: 

"Today, we're bringing Lemonade autonomous car to Tesla drivers in Colorado. This first-of-its-kind insurance product cuts Tesla's cost of ownership by slashing insurance prices in half for miles driven with FSD (Supervised)."

Lemonade offers car insurance, which supports most cars as well as Teslas, in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Washington.

Geico names new chief financial officer

Geico announced the appointment of David Foy as chief financial officer. 

Foy previously worked as chief financial officer of White Mountains Insurance Group for 14 years. 

Nancy Pierce, Geico's chief executive officer, said in a press release: "His extensive leadership experience across insurance and financial services will be instrumental to our continued success, and his expertise in capital management and building high-performing teams will support the long-term decisions that drive sustainable growth."

Nassau Financial Group invests in Trussed AI

Nassau Financial Group announced an investment in Trussed AI, a provider of AI governance and compliance solutions. The investment is through the Nassau Reimagine program.

Ajay Dankar, co-founder and CEO of Trussed AI, said in a press release. "As AI adoption accelerates across insurance, healthcare, and financial services, organizations need practical solutions that enable innovation while maintaining control and regulatory confidence. Nassau's investment reinforces the importance of this challenge and validates the need for scalable AI governance capabilities across regulated industries."
