P&C insurer San Crist-bal Seguros has selected Guidewire Software, Inc.’s PolicyCenter as its new underwriting, rating, and policy admin system.
As part of a company-wide initiative to replace its core systems,the Argentinian insurer will also implement Guidewire for billing , ratings and client data management, the company said.
“The adoption of BillingCenter and PolicyCenter promotes innovation, flexibility and agility, allowing the business to achieve differential competitive advantages,” said Daniel Gabas, process and technology manager at San Crist-bal Seguros, in a statement.
The company plans to first deploy Guidewire’s suite across its automotive lines of business before ultimately expanding implementation into Uruguay. The deal follows
