Selective Insurance Appoints IT Managers

Branchville, N.J. – Selective Insurance Co. of America, a Branchville, N.J.-based subsidiary of Selective Insurance Group Inc., appointed three information technology services (ITS) managers. 

J. Gary Beumee was named assistant vice president and ITS project manager. Prior to joining Selective, Beumee was a managing director of IT at New York-based Bear Stearns & Co. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in music from William Paterson University in Wayne, N.J., a master's degree in music from SUNY Stony Brook in Stony Brook, N.Y., and a degree in computer programming from The Chubb Institute, Inc. in Parsippany, N.J. Beumee holds the project management professional designation and is a member of the Newtown Square, Pa.-based Project Management Institute Inc.

Lisa Evans was appointed assistant vice president and personal lines ITS manager. Evans joined Selective in May 2002 as an information technology services specialist. She earned her associate degree in computer sciences from Manchester Community College in Manchester, Conn., and holds a project management professional designation. She is also a member of the Project Management Institute.

Robert McKenna was named assistant vice president, infrastructure planning and integration for Selective's ITS department. Prior to joining Selective, McKenna was a senior engineer/team lead for Prebon Yamane. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in chemical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J.
