Skywire's Expanded Offering Includes ISO Data

Frisco, Texas – Skywire Software, a global provider of software and services to the insurance industry, is expanding its alliance with ISO, a Jersey City, N.J., provider of data, analytics and decision-support services, with the release of its Rating Xpress product.

Rating Xpress will be available to ISO subscribers using Skywire Software’s Insbridge rating, rules and underwriting system. Insbridge is a Web-based rating, rules and underwriting system designed to provide business users with an understanding of underwriting logic to create, deploy and manage even the most complex rates and rules with supreme accuracy. The ability to access ISO content through Skywire Software’s Insbridge will further aid insurers to reduce time associated with maintaining rates, speed time-to-market, and improve rating accuracy, quality and compliance.

Skywire Software already offers a complete library of more than 12,000 fully implemented, active ISO forms for all major property/casualty lines of business through its Policy Xpress and Library Xpress applications, and Documaker customer communications management suite. ISO member companies leverage Skywire Software’s applications to assist with policy production.

“For several years, insurers using Library Xpress, Policy Xpress and Documaker have benefited from the availability of ISO content,” says Wendy Gibson, Skywire Software’s chief marketing officer. “Skywire Software is pleased to expand our relationship with ISO and now make ISO loss costs and rating rules available to our Insbridge clients.”

Skywire’s growing relationship with ISO fits with the company’s larger strategic expansion vision, and its desire to create a niche in the insurance technology and services arena. Over the past two years, the company, a Hall Financial Group subsidiary, acquired Whitehill Technologies, Docucorp, Integrated Insurance Technologies and RiscClick. In March, Skywire announced the spin-off of iWave, which integrates, automates and orchestrates ITIL-defined service management processes.
