Los Angeles, Calif. — SOA Software Inc., a Los Angeles-based integrated SOA governance automation vendor, acquired LogicLibrary, a Pittsburgh-based SOA repository and governance vendor.

SOA Software is positioned by Gartner Inc. in the leader's quadrant of the "Magic Quadrant for Integrated SOA Governance Technology Sets, 2007" report, according to SOA Software. Forrester Research ranks LogicLibrary as a leader in “The Forrester Wave: SOA Service Life-Cycle Management Q1 2008.”

The combination of the two companies creates an integrated SOA governance automation solution that spans all lifecycle stages and governance types from planning to development, policy, and through operational governance, according to SOA Software.
