Starr Insurance Holdings Inc., a member of the Starr Cos., has selected PolicyWriter as its policy administration platform for its general casualty, energy, environmental and commercial auto lines of business. PolicyWriter is a product of Adaptik Corp.
PolicyWriter is a rules-based policy administration solution for personal, commercial, workers’ compensation and specialty lines of business. Its business functionality is designed to enable speed-to-market, lowers the risks and costs associated with system replacement and maintenance. It scales to the demands of the largest P&C carriers.
Starr Insurance Holdings took advantage of the PolicyWriter Challenge to evaluate and, ultimately, select PolicyWriter as a policy administration platform, according to Adaptik. The Challenge highlighted PolicyWriter’s configuration and prototyping capabilities. A first cut of the system was created and reviewed live by Starr Insurance Holdings' business and operations management in a matter of weeks, Adaptik said.
