The StoneRiver IIP serves as the support basis for Stream applications, which can be used individually, and produces what the company says to be a “full enterprise service bus.” StoneRiver also said the program will allow for companies to scale costs in periods of growth, and provides users with easier automation, integration and an overall enhanced interface framework.
“While the focus of the Stream solution is on solving business problems, the technical platform supports a carrier’s quest to become leaner, faster and smarter,” said Gary Sherne, president of StoneRiver. “The enterprise service bus is roughly parallel to a symphony conductor orchestrating various instruments with a common musical score. The service bus orchestrates underlying services in composite business processes that can be reconfigured, so true plug-and-play capability is possible.”
