Tennessee Blues Selects Webify For Claims Management

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has selected and begun to implement applications from Webify Solutions' Healthcare On Demand solution. The product consists of a suite of service-oriented business applications that will enable BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee to rapidly expand the breadth and depth of information exchange and process automation with its health care provider community by implementing a direct connect strategy, the company says. 

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee will use applications from Webify Healthcare On Demand to provide end-to-end claims lifecycle management across its provider networks to help increase first pass and auto-adjudication rates, support provider-side claims correction, and deliver full claims visibility from submission to reimbursement. Webify Healthcare On Demand enables collaboration and automation, not only between Payer and Provider trading partners, but also across complete HIPAA transactions themselves by eliminating manual touches and interventions, according to Webify.

"After a detailed product evaluation, we chose Webify Solutions based on their prior experience and results with other prominent healthcare payers and plans," said David Marckel, director, corporate systems, for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.  "Webify's service-oriented business applications provide capabilities for automating mission-critical administrative processes with our provider community while leveraging our current EDI and claims infrastructure," he added.
