Portland, Ore.-based group benefits insurer The Standard has made two promotions in its IT department.
Raghu Valluri is named VP of IT solutions delivery. He also came to The Standard from Intel, in 2007, as director of IT development services. In 2009 he was promoted to AVP of IT business solutions and added responsibility for software quality assurance and testing in 2011 and enterprise architecture in 2012.
Greg Chandler is named VP of IT enterprise services. He also joined The Standard from Intel, in 2008, and last served as an AVP of supplier management, document management services, and IT infrastructure.
“Over the past several years, Raghu has emphasized building strong organizations and made significant contributions in modernizing our technology environment,” said David O’Brien, senior vice president of Information Technology at The Standard, in a statement. “During Greg’s tenure he has focused on improving the reliability, currency and security of infrastructure and achieving cost savings from our suppliers."
