The Standard promotes company vet to AVP of IT

The Standard, a provider of life, disability and accidental death coverage, has announced multiple of executive changes to its organization.

The insurer has promoted Kerry Goff to assistant vice president of information technology enterprise services. Goff joined The Standard in 2014 as senior director of infrastructure architecture and engineering, leading the direction of its enterprise technological platforms.

In his new role, Goff will remain in charge of the division, but also be responsible for the company’s service management office, infrastructure operations and enterprise content management services, according to the company. Goff previously held multiple IT roles at Nike, HMS and Cambia Health Solutions before joining The Standard.

“Kerry has a proven track record of running complex infrastructure organizations,” said David O’Brien, senior vice president of information technology at The Standard, in a statement. “During the past three years at The Standard, he has helped modernize our technologies and positioned us to support our automation vision in IT.”

The carrier also announced the appointment of Kevin Erdahl as second vice president, risk management, employee benefits underwriting and disclosed three three other promotions in accounting, mortgage investing and actuarial spaces.
