Travelers, Amazon expand smart device partnership

The Travelers Companies has expanded its partnership with Amazon to provide discounts on smart-home kits for customers.

Launched last month in Missouri, Wisconsin, Colorado and California, the carrier has announced 11 new states in which eligible customers will have access to discounts on smart home kits through the Travelers digital storefront on Amazon: Amazon.com/Travelers.

The states added are Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. The smart kits include:

  • Security cameras
  • Water sensors
  • Motion detectors with multi-sensor capabilities
  • A smart home hub that wirelessly connects a devices to work together
  • An Amazon Echo Dot
