Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, a mutual insurance company with about two million members in Iowa and South Dakota, has deployed MedeAnalytics' Employer Reporting system for large employer groups.
Using analytics technology, Employer Reporting provides group-specific insights, benchmarking and interactive, customizable reports to help ensure effective outcomes for employers. It enables health plans to analyze and share plan-use metrics with employer groups.
With tablets or PCs, users at Wellmark can drill down into plan performance data to spot trends and identify root causes that impact employer costs. Self-service reporting capabilities are also available, where users can generate enhanced data visualizations along with tailored analysis of plan usage.
