Wells Fargo Hires New Head of Risk Management

Wells Fargo Insurance, part of Wells Fargo & Co., hired Ken Fraser to lead the risk management and international insurance practices for the company, as well as the company's global broker network. Fraser will be based in Atlanta, reporting to Anne Doss, head of national practices and special risk.

Wells Fargo says Fraser joins the company after 26 years with Marsh, where he held numerous leadership positions at the national and regional levels, including national industry practice leader, partnership leader, Atlanta office head and, most recently, driving strategic new growth nationally in their global risk management business. He originally joined Sedgwick in London and, after 10 years, transferred to the United States, where he was responsible for Sedgwick Global sales efforts in North America at the time of its acquisition by Marsh.

Fraser will be responsible for developing a national strategy to drive business within the risk management segment, says Wells Fargo, including leveraging vast cross-sell opportunities within the company’s corporate and commercial banking businesses. He will be responsible for the international insurance practice, as well as the continued growth and development of the 70-plus-member Wells Fargo Global Broker Network.
