Wells Fargo Names New Midwest Regional Managing Director

Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA Inc., part of Wells Fargo & Co., named John Meder regional managing director for its Midwest region, which includes Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Missouri. In his role, Meder will lead sales efforts, cross-sell initiatives and expansion of the region's employee benefits practice. Wells Fargo says he will be based in Cleveland and report to Kevin Kenny, east area brokerage manager for Wells Fargo Insurance Services.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Meder was head of Wachovia Insurance Services' Ohio operations and led the company's Real Estate Industry Practice. Prior to joining Wachovia, he was senior VP and member of the executive committee for the Ohio operations of Marsh, where he held various positions including client executive, middle market department manager, and Cleveland sales leader, says Wells Fargo.
