How AI brokerage tools create better customer experience

The insurance industry is not shielded from the change happening across all industries. Tech-savvy consumers expect to be met wherever they are. Most people don't think about it unless they must, or at the time of some large purchase or a life-changing event. But for many, the insurance-buying process can be complex and tedious. For an insurance broker to properly assess risk, the client must provide accurate information to get the right coverage solutions and best pricing. Often, this information is gathered through forms, requiring details to be filled out across pages and pages. In some cases, the same information must be provided repeatedly. 

Simple ways to shop for the market's best deals are hard to come by, and the challenges are many. When a client gets a quote and selects a policy, it's not always clear what they've purchased and exactly what coverage they can expect. The language may be dense and difficult for the average consumer to digest and understand when purchasing coverage. Brokers can help them understand their risk, make informed choices, and feel supported in the claims process, but still, it became clear an opening to rethink how it happens leveraging the technology of today. 

Right now, AI developments within the personal lines space are driving the industry forward and transforming consumers' touchpoints for a more seamless experience.  Trucordia designed an AI tool, called Trucordia Go, to address some challenges consumers may experience in the traditional insurance-shopping process. It does what AI is best at doing by providing quicker results, clearer information and the ability to keep things as simple as possible for users.
