AIG "World Risk" International Products Available via Online Broker

Chicago - InsuranceNoodle Inc. is introducing the new AIG "WorldRisk" portfolio of international products which provides insurance protection for small U.S.-based companies that sell products or whose employees travel overseas.InsuranceNoodle is an Internet-based distributor of small business insurance. More than 2,500 active NoodleNetwork agencies across the country use the e-broker's patented proprietary, Web-based technology platform to write and service small commercial business. InsuranceNoodle's current line of commercial products includes property, general liability, package, business owners' policy (BOP), directors' and officers' liability, commercial auto, umbrella liability, workers' compensation, employment practices liability (EPLI), professional liability and surety bonds.

"We are extremely proud of being selected to introduce these products because it enables InsuranceNoodle to provide our agent partners with access to essential protection and services that are often missing in the domestic insurance programs of their customers who do business or travel overseas," says Kathryn Emmerson, CEO of InsuranceNoodle Inc.

"Many small businesses have overseas exposures which most standard domestic policies do not cover," Emmerson says. "Without the types of coverage the 'WorldRisk' portfolio offers, these companies can be exposed to a serious uninsured loss."

"WorldRisk" portfolio products include:

Foreign Traveler Policy: Employer's responsibility (contingent foreign voluntary workers compensation and employers liability), travel accident/sickness and kidnap & ransom coverage for U.S. commercial "for-profit" companies whose employees travel overseas (i.e., for speaking engagements or trade shows), but have no overseas sales and do not want or need foreign general liability coverage.

TravelPak Policy: Foreign general liability (excluding products), employers responsibility (contingent foreign voluntary workers compensation and employers liability), travel accident/sickness, auto liability for hired non-owned autos, foreign business travel property and kidnap & ransom coverage.

Foreign Defender Policy: Foreign general liability (premises/operations & products/completed operations) coverage for businesses that only sell products overseas (i.e., Internet sales, exporters, components parts suppliers) but have no foreign travel or foreign locations.

"AIG 'WorldRisk' is very excited about the launch of these new products," says Susan Fontaine, senior vice president of AIG WorldRisk. "The new 'WorldRisk' products have been specifically designed to provide important and cost effective coverage for the increasing number of small businesses taking advantage of opportunities outside the USA. We are pleased InsuranceNoodle will be introducing these products and believe its platform can effectively bring recognition to the importance of this coverage as part of an insured's overall insurance program."
